A brief to design a community center which balances a relationship of local residents with highlighting social awareness of dementia and Alzheimer's.

Focusing on the history of South Parade Pier in Portsmouth and its iconic status within the city to create a space which revitalizes the building and surrounding area and is poetic in form.

 

The overall design must respond to the needs of its users in a contextual and materialistic sense in order to ensure a fun and relaxing environment which brings the community together.
